Volunteers Going to Africa

Augost Africa Team-2008

Long steps has been taken, however we still have a long way. Here, we leave behind our nationality, our habits and then we get into a common universe. We find ourselves in the same directions: to go to Africa.

Here at IICD Michigan we are called DI’s (Development Instructors), and we are shaped so that we can develop a good roll. Seminars, courses, workshops, so that, we can achieve the capacity

The week of African history was the beginning of our studies here at IICD. During one week we intensively breathe that continent of strong colors and deep marks. The more we studied more we realized that there was our place. The African map on our wall seems to be a master piece of art. Each country showed to be more interesting than the other, was too many things to hold. We needed to take a rest

This is the most stressing and frustrating part of our cooperation. No matter how well intentioned and full of conviction we are, the money is essential to pay all our costs in Africa (so if you want to contri e with us get in touch with 269 5919184). To achieve our goal we try to call to some companies in order to ask some donations or we negotiate with big supermarkets so that we can stay outs
